Michele Boyd

Michele Boyd, Director of Preservation Services, joined BCA in 2002. Michele completed her M.S. in historic preservation at Columbia University with a focus on architectural history and preservation planning. Her recent experience includes her lead role in the creation of the Historic Preservation Master Plan for Washington, D.C.'s Union Station and the development of comprehensive preservation plans and historic structures reports for the 19th and early 20th century buildings on the campus of the Newark Museum. Her work at BCA is centered on conducting archival research and developing architctural histories and significance studies, documenting existing conditions, and conducting restoration design review for compliance with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation. Michele helps clients smoothly navigate the landmarks approvals process at the local, state, and federal levels.
