Newton Public Building Survey
BCA conducted a preliminary survey of all 77 buildings owned by the City of Newton in 2011, providing a one page analysis of each building’s historic significance. Based on this survey, BCA prepared a more detailed report on the 32 buildings that were judged to be of high or moderate historic significance. This more detailed phase included a list of important features, conditions assessments and prioritized recommendations for treatment. Properties included town offices, police and fire stations, libraries and schools.
